Wizkid wants to build schools all over Africa
“I’ll need help from fans to pick where we start this. Trying to build a school in every country in Africa. That’s my dream. Surulere, Lagos, Ghana and Benin Republic,” Wizkid tweeted.
Nigerian singer, Ayo Balogun, popularly known by his stage name, Wizkid, has announced his plan to build schools in every country in Africa.
The singer made the disclosure on Twitter on Saturday, where he called on his fans to help him pick which country to start with.
“Using my own profits from this business partnership with Nike to build a school back home in Lagos. #Educationforeverychild.
“I’ll need help from fans to pick where we start this. Trying to build a school in every country in Africa. That’s my dream. Surulere, Lagos, Ghana and Benin Republic,” the tweet read.
The singer had earlier announced the release date for his collaborative effort with sports company, Nike, on branded jerseys.
According to the superstar, the jersey would go on sale from Monday, September 10.
